64 yr old female with severe periodontal disease64 year old female with severe periodontal disease in the lower front teeth. The probing pocket depths are 5-8 mm. At initial examination bleeding and pus flow are observed following gentle probing of the gingival margin. The image illustrate a prominent symptom of pathology at severe periodontal disease.

10 years laterThis is the same patient 10 years later. She has received periodontal treatment including surgery and thereafter been given supportive treatments approximately once every third to fourth month. The gingival tissues are healthy and only minor progression of attachment loss has occurred during the years
